According to Women Leadership Foundation (WLF) Founder and Chairperson Datuk Dr Hafsah Hashim, there are more than 185,000 women-owned Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the country, representing around 17 per cent of all SMEs.
Halal Affairs Coordinator in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datin Paduka Hakimah Mohd Yusoff, and Deputy Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development, Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad, are driving efforts to integrate women more deeply into Malaysia’s halal leadership.
